Everyone loves Star Wars, right? Well, what would you think if your neighbor built a 23-foot Death Star replica on their roof? That's what Colby Powell did with his children in Lafayette, CA.
Weighing 400 pounds, it was made with 2,000 feet of PVC piping, 18 cans of paint, some parachutes, and well placed LED lighting.

I don't think I'd really want that to be on my neighbor's roof in a windstorm. But they did do an awesome job.

Sandra - I am a big fan of Star Wars, but I don't think I would ever build a replica Death Star and place it on my home.

Looks pretty darn cool. Not sure i"d do it, but have no problem driving to see it at the neighbors. Especially if a drive, don't want it keeping me up, with battles and ray guns going off all night.
