Purchasing a home is often the largest investment you will make in your life. However, just
because you've closed on a home doesn't mean you are done spending money. Today we'll talking
about 3 additional expenses that may come up once you actually move into your new home. The more
your prepare for unexpected expenses, the more you can enjoy your new Las vegas home.

Paint and Carpet
We tell all of our clients to plan on paying for new paint and carpet in their homes. Even if the
home looks perfect when you first see it, once the sellers move out with all their furniture and
wall decorations, a lot of the time the walls are banged up and their furniture can hide a lot of
carpet stains.
Window Treatment and Light Fixtures

Another cost you probably wouldn't account for. These are usually cheap fixes and are needed in
only a few rooms, but sometimes they are needed around the entire house which can quickly add up.

A/C and Appliances
The last thing to set aside money for is for air conditioning and appliances. Even though they may
be running today, anything can happen after you move in. It's always good to set aside money for
these things just in case.
