Weltanschauung is a German word meaning a world view, or one’s philosophy on a company or organizationaI still have a rough time pronouncing the word, even after help from my AR friend, Andrea Bedard, who was from East Germany at a time when the Iron Wall had still separated Germany.
Active Rain actually has 10 Guiding Principles and a philosophy for our AR community. But, I only want to focus on the main reason many of us have joined Active Rain, and are “Still Here”. The Value of our AR Community rests entirely on our membership. It’s a great place where professionals from every area of the real estate industry can come together to share their talents and knowledge for the benefit of helping and encouraging other members in our community.
Being the largest Professional Real Estate Network in the world makes it a “melting pot” for everyone to learn and to grow from one another. The Spirit of this community has been a very positive, supportive, and encouraging for all the members who participate by sharing their expertise on all facets of the real estate industry.
Our AR Members place a very high value on building relationships with other members from around the country, Canada, and other parts of the world. It’s a wonderful thing knowing that a fellow member will take great care of your clients whenever you send them a referral. We may never met face to face, but we have come to know one another from reading other member’s profile, their posts, and commenting back and forth on their posts.
I can’t think of a better place for any Newbie in our real estate industry, or those who are looking to fine tune their skills, than right here in our AR community where you’ll find professionals willing to share and to even teach at times with those tutorials. The education alone is well worth the investment. Our members truly make Active Rain what it is because of the high values everyone places on being here. That’s what Weltanschauung is all about in our AR Rain Community.
