I hope with such a mild winter in New England we are not being teased by Ole Man Winter. We've already had 60° - 70° weather. I have no snow in my yard. The groundhog saw his shadow, the NASCAR season has started, baseball Spring training has started, March Madness is in full swing AND tonight begins Daylight Savings Time - Spring Forward.

Remember to:

Set your clocks forward 1 hour

Test your smoke detector

Change the batteries.

I just installed a new smoke detector because mine was over 10 years old. The new ones have 10-year life batteries.

It will not be Spring until March 21. So keep quiet so that Old Man Winter does not hear you. I have had 6 inches of snow on St. Pats Day, and you are advised not to plant tomatos until after May 15 in Chicago.

Hahahaha. I know what you mean. I can remember on May 11, 1973 we had snow. I remember the date because in MA we had to have our studded snow tires off by May 10th.
