LET US PRAY
Dear Lord, You came to set us free. I lift up the men, women and children around the world who are enslaved. Lord, help them find freedom and justice. I ask that you break the chains of the many who are forced into human trafficking every day. In the book of Luke, Jesus read “the scroll of the prophet Isaiah…He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor” (Luke 4:17-19, NIV). You have come to set the oppressed free, please use others and myself to continue to fight for the freedom of those in slavery. I pray for the survivors, who have been released, please provide a safe harbor for them. Cover them with your love and surround them with people who will bring healing to their life. Jesus, you have the power to heal all wounds. I pray that this year will be a year of freedom and restoration. In your name I pray, Amen.
