Health : More Good News for Chocolate Lovers
Dark chocolate is now almost becoming a member of the health-food group as another research study released its findings. There have been numerous studies which have reported and demonstrated the nutritional benefits of eating dark chocolate.
Appetite Magazine recently published the results of a study that found you may be able to boost cognitive function by regularly eating dark chocolate. Researchers analyzed study participants over a 30 year of time. A 30 year span is huge in my mind. This study found that those folks who consumed chocolate at least once a week performed much better on various cognitive tests than those who never or rarely eat chocolate.
These results point to the cocoa’s flavanols which increase blood flow to the brain. Chocolate also has a small amount of caffeine which also improves alertness and helps in addition to the other components in chocolate.
If you get a chocolate craving here in Katy TX at night or anytime go ahead eat some chocolate but a small amount goes a long way and over indulgence is not good either as we all already know. This is certainly great news for all of us chocolate lovers..
