The Village Market is the longest running of all the Reno farmers markets.  It has also continued to be one of the most popular markets around.  Vendors here range from fresh fruit and produce to natural skin care, lovely ornamental yard art, arts, crafts and products geared especially for your furry family members.  Pre-packaged specialty food is available for those people who still want to eat healthy during their hectic daily lives.  Delicious baked goods make every meal better.  Handcrafted jewelry and homemade clothing are also part of the offerings available.  Chances are good that if you are looking for something special, you are going to find it here.

Every Thursday afternoon through the end of August, the Sands Regency transforms its back parking lot into a local farmers market.  Vendors from all over the area come here to hawk their wares.  Since it is canopied, it helps keep guests sheltered from the elements.  Neither rain or pounding sun will keep vendors from providing the freshest fruit, produce, dairy, grass-fed beef, flowers, baked goods, cheeses, jams, jellies or other foods to their patrons.  Food trucks offer tasty, made-to-order meals while you shop.  The beer garden helps slake an adult shopper's thirst.  Kids will be kept busy in the children's play area.  The line-up of live entertainment changes each week.

Once you create your family's meal plan for the week, bring your grocery list to one of the 2016 Reno Farmers Markets to pick up items for these meals.  With three different days of the week open, there is sure to be a farmers market convenient for your busy life.
