One of the advantages of living in the Washington DC area is the exposure to local, national & international talent, people and ideas. This weekend, in Capitol Hill, that means DC Jazz Festival.

I popped over Friday night; the weather was divine. The music was just right. The crowds were friendly.

Just one of those nights when I'm smiling ear to ear with no good reason, other than, it's a beautiful life.

Inna Ivchenko the scary part,as much fun as this was, I've not been around in the subsequent Friday nights to get over to do it again. BUT...there are still 6-7 weeks of pure summer in DC to get another shot at this. Hope you are well.

I'm glad you posted this local event. I never knew D.C. had Jazz concerts. I love the museums, monuments, and cherry blossoms but this is something I don't hear anyone else talk about until now.
