KENWOOD PARK HOME MEDIAN PRICES 

In Kenwood Park, the median sold price for properties for June was $1,112,500, representing an increase of 33.2% over June's $835,000. On the other hand, the $1,112,500 was a 22.2% decrease from the June 2015's $1,430,000 median sold price.  When you only have a few homes selling in any given month there is bound to be some changes in the median sold prive! 

Year to date the median price has been $950,000. The five year average is $1,249,800 and the year to date median sold price was $1,430,000. 

KENWOOD PARK INVENTORY LEVELS

SCHOOLS THAT YOUR CHILDREN WILL ATTEND

Everyone loves the schools around Kenwood Park. The public schools are part of the Whitman High School Cluster: Burning Tree Elementary, Thomas Pyle Middle School, and Whitman High School.   In addition, there are lots of private schools nearby, including Landon School for Boys and the Holton Arms School for Girls.

WHAT IS NEAR KENWOOD PARK? 

If you live in Kenwood Park, you will probably do your grocery shopping either in downtown Bethesda where there is a Giant on Arlington Road and a Safeway on Bradley Blvd., or you will go down River Road to the Giant at Westbard or the Whole Foods on River Road. There is Rite Aid at Westbard and several banks and the ever present Starbucks. 

Downtown Bethesda offers more restaurants than you could taste in a month of Sundays as my mother used to say. My favorite is Mon Ami Gabi which is always filled, but Jaleo, owned by Jose Andres is a popular choice too.  Nightlife in Bethesda is improving with a few pubs and bars, but my favorite way to spend an evening is at the movies at Bethesda Row which features several independent movies each night.  You can buy a glass of wine and some appetizers to take to your seat, making it a very fun evening.
