By
Real Estate Technology with Rentec Direct

While visiting Northern California Coast I stumbled upon this Tsunami Evacuation Sign

Tsunami Evacation Route

Pointing down the street to this sign:

Tsunami Evacuation Route

I had to laugh because it appear by the signs that I might want to stay in between sign number one and sign number two in case of an emergeny. =)

Kathryn, looks like there is a cafe nearby, too. And, maybe a trail up the hill. :) I hope you are enjoying California!

This is funny.  Not something we ever see in our land-locked state.

I hope they never have to post a sign like that here in Indiana.  We don't have any higher ground.

That is too funny Kathryn! One thing is for sure, not a whole lot of people can get stuck there, it doesn't look like it goes very far before the dead end!

That's funny! But seriously, I hope no tsunamis come or there would be trouble and a lot of explaining by the local government!

Kathryn .

I did have a "huh?" moment.  Tho the sign is guiding them to the hills my mind first thought of this street being a "dead end".  Uh oh! =)
