I am Thankful for the Simple Things
I am Thankful for all the tints and hues of each color!
No matter what season we are in, here in Elkhart Indiana, I love all the shades of green in the summer. Each plant, each tree has it's own hue of green, from a new sprout of lime green to and ending color of forest green. I marvel at the variety almost every time I look around and see a world of color instead of black and white and grays.
I am Thankful that my Mom read to us every night at bedtime until we were in high school. All five of us kids enjoy the pleasure of sitting down to read a book! There are hundreds and thousands of Author's (like our own Mimi Foster) and they each have their own creative imaginations and paint us pictures with words. I love to read!
I am Thankful when I have the time to watch people who are intuned with each other! A knowing look or a private joke and they all laugh, at the same thing.
I am Thankful to have experienced the love of a dog. I grew up with pets, but none of them made an impression on me, until Wolfgang! We met him when he was about 6 weeks old and he came to live with us when he was nine months old. My Daughter Dana moved into a place that didn't allow pets. He was our Granddog! But we belonged to each other.
