Declaring an Emergency

With so many people displaced from Hurricane Maria, Governor Scott is anticipating an influx of people from Puerto Rico into the state of Florida. Scott has an executive order in place to accommodate people that are relocating due to Hurricane Maria.  The State of Florida will do everything in its power to help get these people back on their feet.

What are some talking points

Public shelters are being made ready as well as pharmacies being permitted to supply 30 days worth of medication for those in need.  It also bars business from inflating prices due to the situation. Often we see this, especially with the gas prices. So wrong when in a crisis.

2018 Season in Florida

With so many people coming to the state hundreds of thousands we will see what kind of season we have. Just as Key West was devasted by Irma there is still a lot of work to be done to bring back these areas. Compassion is something we all need to have for these people that have lost everything.
