It's fun and exciting to learn from each other on Active Rain. In this contest by Debbie Reynolds , Ringing and Singing, we also get to learn about each other. With the large amount of AR members, sometimes it takes years to meet some of the members.
I became a real Estate Agent and joined Active Rain in July, 2009, while Gayle became a member in 2007. it was several years later, when I started following her blogs.
She is an Active Rain Ambassador, with well over 1,000,000 points earned during the last 10 years. Her regular blog featuring her travelogues have helped me learn more about some of the other members.
Gayle and I have a similar past, as I was a Radio News and Continuity Director for the Lake Michigan College WBHC Radio Station (since changed to WLMC), while she also was in Broadcasting. While I was painting pictures as an artist, she had her own artistic talent, producing her own line of wearable art, which was sold at Nordstrom's and boutiques around the Portlnd area. She and I are now both in Real Estate and enjoy learning more about the art of producing video.
Gayle has a Bachelors Degree in Theater, Acting and Directing and moved from Philadelphia to Oregon, settling down in the Portland area. Before entering the Real Estate world, she spent 10 years in the Heath-care profession.
Specializing in properties at Fishhawk Lake, she enjoys her life in Vernonia, Oregon. Living within a half of a mile from the lake makes it convenient to work with potential clients. I want to congratulate her on opening her new Real Estate, cabin office, after her closing on Monday.
