But Fisher never wanted to have it all by himself. He sold 7 acres to Vanderbilt II who initiated developments including his mega mansion. Other developments include cottages, guest homes, pools, golf course, marina and more. After Vanderbilt’s death in 1944, there was multiple changing of ownership.
An exciting place to be
Miami Beach and the suburbs of Miami are getting saturated with condo towers rising everywhere. However, to the South of Miami there is a small paradise known as Fisher Island.
