Last Thursday on May 7, Keller Williams agents of North Central Louisiana took a day away from business to give back to the community. Formally known as Red Day, once a year agents of Keller Williams take a day free from work to gather together to serve the people and the cities that they live in. This year, we teamed together to serve at the Boys and Girls Club of North Louisiana. We worked diligently to repaint, restore, garden, organize books, scrub and clean the club for the kids who get to go there everyday after school. The Boys and Girls Club is a charitable organization that serves children one meal, provides help with homework, and is a great place for kids to come after school and play while waiting for parents to get off work. Without this organization, many children would not have the opportunity to have another meal besides at school, recieve some help with school, or have a safe place to come to when school isnt an option.
Throughout the summer, this organization also hosts camps and other activities for kids to attend instead of just sitting at home or in an unsafe situation. The Brasher Group and all of the agents of Keller Williams in North Central Louisiana are extremely thankful for the impact that the Boys and Girls Club of North Central Louisiana has on our community. Here is Ruston, there is never a shortage of people willing to help out one another. We could not be more thankful and proud to give back to the community that we love
so much!
