Although any day is a good day to visit the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas - rainy days are perfect for indoor fun.  I am a huge fan of the Perot Museum and it is always fun to bring out-of-town guests there.  If you have not yet visited the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, I highly recommend making plans to visit it in the very near future.  As their website offers:

Inspiring the visionaries of tomorrow

The Perot Museum of Nature and Science located in Victory Park, near Downtown Dallas is said to be a "world of wonder" by The Dallas Morning News. Passing the test of school children, inspiring curiosity in all ages and boasting as a living science lesson, this new Museum opened its doors to the public on December 1, 2012. Get ready to amaze your brain through hands-on learning experiences.

We invite you to explore this site to learn more about the new Perot Museum: watch a time-lapse video of the building as it was built, learn about the building, the halls and exhibits, the programs, and the fundraising campaign and how you can contribute to the Perot Museum. Plus, learn how the incredible generosity of the Perot family and other wonderful donors turned a dream into the start of something big.

ABOUT YOUR VISIT

All visitors, both members and non-members require a ticket for general exhibits visits. We strongly suggest reserving your ticket(s) online in advance of your visit to avoid long lines at the Museum and possible sellouts.

Be prepared to show your printed ticket(s) or ticket barcode on your smartphone upon entering the Museum on your designated visit day.

Please note that all tickets are for timed entry at 30-minute intervals starting daily at 10am.

Good Morning Lisa - the Perot Museum certainly is great for children.  We had one in Philadelphia when I was growing up.
