As more people move to Osceola county, their is an increase in school population. With that comes more and more bus riders. So it is great to tell homeowners that a wonderful new feature about Osceola County School district is the latest app.
The Osceola County School District's Transportation Department is excited to announce the utilization of an app called; Here Comes the Bus for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year.
Here Comes the Bus is an easy-to-use school bus tracking app that gives parents and students the ability to track the location of their school buses. It shows parents where their child's bus is on a map, and it allows students and parents to accurately gauge just when their bus will arrive. This way, children no longer have to stand outside in the dark during inclement weather for an unpredictable amount of time. It also takes security and comfort to the next level by allowing parents to track their children's buses.
Here Comes the Bus translates GPS information into an easy-to-follow map, that works from a computer, tablet, or smartphone, allowing you to see where the bus is and how close it is to your home. The app is customizable, making it easy to set notifications to be sent to you and/or your children when the bus is close. Users set up a geofence, up to two miles around their home, and once the bus comes into the geofence area a notification is sent on the approximate arrival time.
I know many of the residents are just as excited to try it out.
