Aloha Sheila Anderson, the fence that you see is the enclosed baseball diamond at the park so it's somewhat high and dominates the sight lines but it is a large open space next to the complex which is always better than abutting a building. The baseball diamond itself is said to have been drawn out by Alexander Cartwright, the father of Baseball.
