Having the afternoon off is a rare occasion for this intrepid Realtor.
But with my wife, Mary, my assistant and cohort, we made our way to a local lake and she tore up the larger bass on whole nightcrawlers and light line... All caught from the same place within about a half an hour!!!
15" Bass!!!!
16" bass!!!
17" Bass!!!!!
My Dad(God Rest His Soul) said to me one morning at 5 A.M. as I was "touching my fishing lures"(Big Medicine) before leaving to fish and he was getting up for work....
"Chip, I think you'd rather fish than f---"
I thought for a second and being only 18 and never having heard my Dad utter that word before said, " No... I don't think so"
Then, I got the raised eyebrow... but it was soon followed by a big smile as if to say,"Just like his old man!"
Nice fish. It is always a more enjoyable day when the fish are biting. Those are some nice size BASS.
