I just heard on the news this morning that construction of new homes rose 8.2 percent in April! Isn't that great? They said that this is the largest monthly advance in more than 2 years.
It is largely due to an increase in apartment construction, but hey, we'll take what we can get, right? It is encouraging that things are at least moving in the right direction. :)
