"Fun in the Sun."
I arrived in the Palm Springs area Friday afternoon. One of my favorite things to do is go to the College of the Desert Street Fair on the weekend. Since I had a tee time scheduled for Sunday, I got up early Saturday and headed to the street fair held at the College. I love that those who arrive early score covered parking. It's not too hot yet but later in the winterit does make a big difference to have the car under cover.
It was fun cruising up and down up and down up and down the dozens of rows with vendors selling anything from sox to items priced at several hundred dollars. If you want it, you can probably find it there.
After the street fair I drove around town a bit, getting my bearings back. Then went back to hang out at the hotel pool until time to go to dinner with my husband's cousin and his wife from Edmonton, Alberta. We had a lovely evening and caught up after 3 years of not seeing each other.
Back at the hotel, I had a glass of wine and turned in for the night.
