Distress Property Stats November 2017

On December 20, 2017, Attom Data Solutions and Realtytrac reported that nationwide there were 578,286 distress properties in November of 2017 declined 7.0% from October of 2017, and dropped 26.0% from November of 2016. While pre-foreclosures were 30.9%, auctions were 38.3%, and REOs were 30.8% in November of 2017. Nationwide, one in every 2,504 homes, and State of New Jersey one in 734 homes were in foreclosure during November of 2017.

Pre-foreclosures decreased 8.8% in November of 2017 from October of 2017, and lower 13.6% from November of 2016. Auctions dropped 5.8% in November of 2017 from October of 2017, and fell 22.5% from November of 2016. REOs declined 7.8% in November of 2017 from October of 2017, and down 37.7% from November of 2016.

Like Curtis Van Carter, I'm shocked too, John. I've never believed RealtyTrac's numbers anyway though! We are at less than 2% here in Charlotte if that gives any indication of how far off their national numbers are.
