Winter storm in the East.

snow and cold are totally out of my wheel house. We just stay home if it snows. I'm fine with power for a good while and we stay supplied too.

Every time you watch the local news in the Northeast, they seem to not know it’s not was like or have ever heard of it or seen it. It’s very weird!

That last picture would shut down my area completely.  Schools, government offices and the like would shut down

The east coast weather images on the national news are amazing William.  I have lived in Sacramento all my life.  I can count the number of times I've seen any snow here on the fingers of one hand.

The coast is really getting hammered William Feela and hopefully they are all as prepared as you for the winter storms!

Hi William Feela - I live in Sedona AZ where the temps right now are mid 60º and all my plants are covered and my snow shovel is close by. Actually, I am probably one of the few that even owns a snow shovel. For me it is about safety for visitors.  

BTW - Normally we have had snow by now. I don't see it anywhere in the forecast.

Good morning William. It was a good day yesterdat to be in. In western Mass. we are prepared too but the temperatures are dangerous and the wind is almost hurricane level. Nice to be in and I'm not missing a meal either.

We lucked out because theStorm didn't come inward to dump a foot of snow on us (1-2 inches only). BUT we have been in severe Wind Chills for about a week !!!

My emergency preparedness is not quite where it should be, but in our area we are typically spared from major weather events.

Hi William, I bet you have seen some big storms and lowww temps.  We got 4 inches yesterday, now the winds from the arctic are blowing and lowering the temps to some record breakers here.  I too welcome a good storm. Something about hearing the wind howl and watching the snow blowing that never gets old....

You are one of the few that is ready for  most anything that can be thrown at you
