I have text-ed about previous rocket launches from Cape Canaveral in the past. Although this picture is all in good fun, this is basically what you see all along the Space Coast when a rocket goes up. Even the locals will stop what they are doing to go outside and watch for the telltale signs of a rocket hurtling into space from the Cape.
There is a launch tonight from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station with an expected launch time of 6:32pm. NASA is sending up a satellite on a mission that it expects with discover thousands of exoplanets around nearby bright stars. This satellite will go up aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.
Happy Rocket Watching!

I would be doing the same thing if I lived near the Cape Kerry. I'm guessing Musk is going to have the rockets return to earth & try out his "catchers mitt" idea again.

Good morning Kerry. I have never witnessed a rocket launch but would love to see one.
