The Village at Sandhill in Columbia, SC  Far be it from me of all people to assume that I should deprive the world of it's much needed occasional retail therapy and if you find yourself in need while inhabiting or visiting Northeast Columbia, then we have just the place for you. The Village at Sandhill is a large and sprawling outdoor mall at the corner of Two Notch Road and Clemson Road. To say it's large is truly something of an understatement, there's a lot of space here so trust me when I say you can't miss it even if you're not familiar with the area. The grounds are impeccably manicured with seasonal flowers on display year round.

The Village at Sandhill in Columbia, SCThere is a Summer concert series that features regional, family friendly bands and is free to the public. It's hard enough to beat live music in the first place, but when it's free, you have a winner. There are of course shops, stores, boutiques, and restaurants of all kinds at The Village at Sandhill, but there's also a Richland County Library and an indoor sports arena called the Plex that features a trampoline park, laser tag, and games.

And if you somehow cannot pry free from this place, you don't have to. There are also apartments and luxury condos above many of the retail storefronts.

The Village at Sandhill is located at 481 Town Center Place Columbia, SC 29229.

Oh, I love places like this, JL - and those condos above retail space are SO popular here. We have so few live-work spaces and they are always in high-demand! The summer concert series sound like an added bonus for the community.

Have a wonderful weekend, JL!
