  Opened in 1968, Trenholm Park has the honor of being the very first park opened by the Richland County Recreation Commission.    Located off of Garner's Ferry Road, a main road just outside of downtown Columbia SC, is another wonderful and free park provided by the Richland County Recreation Commission. Large oak trees on either side of the entrance greet visitors to the park and invite you to explore the 20 acres complex.
  There are baseball/softball fields, multiuse fields, tennis courts, and a walking trail. Plenty of opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors and get a little exercise.
