Texas is known for having many waterways meandering through the state and the San Antonio River is one of them.

Made up of numerous springs in central Texas the San Antonio River travels southeast and eventually runs into the Guadalupe River toward the Gulf of Mexico.

It’s no wonder why the first settlers built their famous missions and the Alamo on the banks of the San Antonio river and today it’s lined with countless hotels, restaurants and shopping that has made San Antonio Riverwalk a must see destination.
