On December 18, 2018, California Association of Realtors (C.A.R) reported an annualized rate of 381,400 single family homes sold in California in November of 2018 decreased 3.9% from 397,060 in October of 2018, and dropped 13.4% from 440,340 units in November of 2017. While, homes values fell 3.0% to the price of $554,760 in November of 2018 from price of $572,000 in October of 2018, but jumped 1.5% from price of $546,820 in November of 2017 in California.
There were 3.7 months supplies of available inventory of single family homes in November of 2018, up from 3.3 months in October of 2018, and rose from 2.9 months in November of 2017. An average it took 28.0 days to sell a single family home in November 2018, gained from 21.0 days in October of 2018, and increased from 22.0 days in November of 2017 in California. The average price for a square foot was $282.00 in November of 2018 higher from $277.00 in November of 2017 in California.
