Palafox Market is where regional farmers, artist, and craftsmen come together and sell their goods. Farmers grow, make, create fruits, vegetables and herbs. People sell fresh produce, live plants, baked goods, fine art, and antiques. It is a must do when visiting or living in Pensacola, FL.
Now that Christmas over, its time to put up the Mardi Gras decor! What is Mardi Gras? Don't have anything to put up yet? That's okay because on January 5th the Palafox Market is transforming into the Mardi Gras Market! They partnered up with Pensacola Mardi Gras and are hosting the event from 9am - 2pm. It will include Mardi Gras themed decor, hand made items, art, baked goods and more. Mardi Gras is an amazing experience and if you haven't been to an event... 2019 is the year. If you are in the area or know anyone who will be, be sure to let them know!
PS - Don't forget to order a king cake this year from J's Bakery! My favorite is the one with raspberry and cream cheese in the middle.
