Where is Golden Hills? Golden Hills is a beautiful golf course community on the Northwest side of Ocala. Head West of I-75 on Hwy 27. Just past NW 80th Ave you will find Golden Hills on your right. It is less than a mile from Golden Ocala and the WEC.
Tell me about the Golf Course? The course is known as Ocala National Golf Club. It offers a 18 hole championship golf course designed by Rees Jones. The course is open to the public and also offers memberships. The beautiful Southern Colonial Clubhouse overlooks the course and also has a relaxing pool area. There is an on site restaurant that serves an amazing Sunday Brunch! Be sure to check it out!!
Is there a venue for events? Yes! The clubhouse is well known for hosting spactualr events. If you are interested in a membership or wedding/event venue please contact Ocala National Golf Club.
What is the neighborhood like? The neighborhood is very nice. One of the nicest in Ocala in fact. (in my opinion). There are aprrox 225 homes here and a few vacant lots available too. The utility providers are City of Ocala for Electric, and Utilities Inc. for water. You will see fire hydrants located throughout – good for insurance! There are no side walks but there are street lights! This neighborhood is perfect for morning runs or evening strolls. Plenty of hills to get those muscles burning.
Many of the homes face the golf course but there are a few that do not. There are also neighborhood next to Golden Hills worth checking out - Sandlin Woods, Villas of Golden Hills, Ascot Heath, Gold Leaf, and Forest of Golden Hills.
