The Skyway, Colorado Springs neighborhood is located in the Southwest part of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Situated against the foothills of the Front Range this neighborhood consists of two parts, Upper Skyway, and Lower Skyway.

Lower Skyway is made up of older homes that were built in the 1960s. Upper Skyway or Top of Skyway consists of newer, larger custom homes.

Although Skyway is a popular neighborhood, there are a lot of great neighborhoods in the Southwest part of Colorado Springs. "The Broadmoor" neighborhood is a historic luxury neighborhood. This area consists of luxury estates, many related or associated at some point in time with the iconic Broadmoor Hotel. This neighborhood has some of the most expensive homes in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Broadmoor Bluffs is another popular neighborhood that Colorado Springs home buyers need to consider. Broadmoor Bluffs is Located south of the Broadmoor and borders Star Ranch Road on the North and Neal Ranch Rd. On the west. The Broadmoor Bluffs neighborhood is convenient to shopping, restaurants and other amenities. It's also a short drive to Fort Carson. Homes in this area offer some fantastic views of both the city and the mountains. Broadmoor Bluffs is more of a modern semi-custom neighborhood than the traditional Broadmoor neighborhood.

Another neighborhood that deserves Southwest Colorado Springs home buyers attention is Broadmoor Glen. The Broadmoor Resort Community Is the epitome of mountain luxury living, at least in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Cheyenne Canyon neighborhood is the soul of the Broadmoor area also known as Southwest Colorado Springs. Cheyenne Canyon features funky vacation Shacks that have in many cases been remodeled and turned into year-round single-family homes. The area is heavily wooded and close to parks entrails that offer some iconic hiking and mountain biking. Cheyenne Canyon exists in a very Stark yet Soulful contrast to neighborhoods like the Broadmoor Resort community and the Old Broadmoor area.

Cheyenne HillsIs a small neighborhood located in the southwest part of Colorado Springs, Colorado. This neighborhood surrounds Quail Lake and Quail Lake Park; while it neighbors the Colorado Country Club to the east.

The Ivywild neighborhood Is also located in the southwest part of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Stratmoor Hills is located in Southwest Colorado Springs, Colorado. This area neighbors Cheyenne Hills to the North and Fort Carson to the South. Homes in this area were built primarily in the 1960s through the 1970s. Home sizes in the area range from 1,500 square feet through 2,500 square feet. Home styles consist of mostly ranch-style homes on a basement or crawl space foundations. Stratmoor Hills is located in the Harrison School District number to attendance area and is extremely convenient for military members stationed at Fort Carson.

Stratton ForestIs a similar neighborhood to the Broadmoor Resort community, the area features stunning luxury Custom Homes on gorgeous tree lots. The Neighborhood is a private gated community and is tucked away between National Forest and the Broadmoor Hotel. Homes in this neighborhood Were built primarily in the early 2000s and range in size from 5000 square feet all the way up into the 10,000 square-foot range.

Stratton Forest is in the Cheyenne Mountain School District number 12 attendance area and is close to parks, trails and National Forest.

Stratmoor Valley Is a neighborhood in Colorado Springs, Colorado that is located just Northeast of Fort Carson. Homes in the Stratmoor Valley area were built In the early 1960s through the mid-1970s. Homes in this area Average 900 to 2,000 square feet in size and are mostly ranch style homes built on either full Basement foundations or crawl spaces.

Stratmoor Valley is located in the Harrison #2 school district. This area is a short commute to Fort Carson because of this the neighboorhood is very popular with military members.
