"He who every morning plans the transactions of the day, and follows out that plan, carries a thread that will guide him through the labyrinth of the most busy life."  ~Victor Hugo

How did you start your day today?  Was it writing a to do list?  Looking over appointments in your PDA?  Many people do not plan out their day and then get overwhelmed later as they don't have enough time to do the things they need to.  There is a simple solution for this: plan.  It takes few minutes in the morning to plan out your day but the reward is priceless as you will be more organized and feel more in control of your day even in your busiest moments.

How do you stay organized and under control when life becomes hectic?

Great point Toni. Those without a plan, plan to fail. It is very important to plan if you are going to make the most of your career.

Time blocking and sticking to your "to do" list and calendar are important things.  You need to schedule everything, including time for yourself... Treat your "me time" as an appointment as well so you can start every day with a smile...

I have posted a handfull of blogs on that very subject....
