Multi-Family Occupancy of a Unique Kind ~
Geese on Raymond Gary Lake
This week gave me a much needed comp day out of the office.
I'm pretty intense as a Real Estate Broker; carrying my "to do" list with me all of the time. For those of you that want to offer advice, writing it down does not remove it from my mind.
I've always been intense at whatever career position I've taken on. It's the way I'm built. At the same time, there has to be days away from it. Wednesday was just that day. I'm not schooled on the difference in geese and ducks so if these are ducks bear with me. :) My early morning discovery of a family of geese on our shoreline was not new. This family, of two adults and 6 young ones, had visited when the babies were much smaller. I love watching them. The 2 adult geese kept their heads high watching me too!
As I watched them scoop up grass clippings and whatever else they eat with the grass, another family of geese decided to ask them to share their treasure!
The new family included 10 or more young ones. In a few minutes they all worked their way across the lawn and dived into the water as one group.
My tree friend, Rocco, the raccoon just kept his back to them!
