The Flying Horse community is a fantastic golf course community located at the northern edge of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Flying horse features home types ranging from patio homes to full-blown custom luxury estates. The neighborhood is also home to The Club at Flying Horse which consists of a large golf club complete with locker rooms, pro shop, bars, restaurants, event rooms, and even a wine turret. The Athletic Club consists of Health Club, Spa, pool, gymnasium and snack bar.

Flying Horse is a great neighborhood but there are lots of great neighborhoods in the Northgate part of Colorado Springs. If you are looking at homes in the Northgate area, here are some other neighborhoods you need to consider:
The Gleneagle neighborhood is a favorite neighborhood for many home buyers. Located on the northern edge of Colorado Springs and east of the United States Air Force Academy, Gleneagle offers some incredible views of the Front Range. although there aren't a lot of amenities located within the community Gleneagle is close to the new Polaris Point development, I-25, and minutes from the Promenade Shops at Briargate.
Gleneagle offers a nice mix of homes ranging from small 2 bedroom condos to large single-family homes. The area has a more mature feel than most of the other Northgate neighborhoods because it has been around since the late 70s.
Northgate Highlands is a newer neighborhood located just south of Gleneagle and north of the new Polaris point Shopping Center. This neighborhood began Construction in 2000 and continued through 2007. Homes in the neighborhood are mostly single-family residence that averaging 4,200 square feet in size. This neighborhood does have some incredible views of the Front Range as well as the Air Force Academy. two of the big driving factors in this area is popularity is the location and schools. The neighborhood is close to I-25, the Air Force Academy and the Polaris Pointe shopping center.
Stone Crossing is a hidden Gem of a neighborhood. Located between flying horse in Voyager Parkway this neighborhood is a great example of how to develop a neighborhood. this neighborhood features mature Landscaping, open space, and decorative ponds.
This neighborhood consists of single-family homes the average 4500 square feet in size. Most of the homes in this neighborhood were built and the mid-2000s by a select group of local builders.
Sun Hills is a popular neighborhood for a number of reasons, primarily because of the larger lots in this area. Homesites in the area are primarily 5 to 10 which makes this a prime area for larger homes. Sun Hills provides quick access to The United States Air Force Academy as well as the shopping and restaurants found in the Polaris Pointe Shops.
The Farm is a new home community being developed on the north side of Colorado Springs. The neighborhood features 140 acres of open space, trails, and some remarkable views. Homes in the area range from $300,000 to just north of $1 Million.
Trail Ridge is located in the northern part of Colorado Springs. The neighborhood sits just off of Voyager Pkwy and south of Polaris Pointe Shops. This neighborhood consists of single family homes that average 3,300 square feet in size and were built primarily in the early 2000s. Trail Ridge provides a convenient location for commuters because it’s close to both Interstate 25 and State Hwy 83.
