We were in England late April this year and we were so lucky to have only clear days. I fell in love with two of the main sightseeing attractions, one of them was the Tower Bridge.
This bridge has beautiful pastel colors which looks like something out of a fairy tale movie. It’s actually bigger than how it looks like in the pictures. There are some facts I didn’t know about it. For example, I didn’t know that the central span of the bridge can be raised to allow ships to pass and that I always thought it was called the London Bridge which there are two different crossings.
The other place I fell in love with was Stonehenge. Since I was a child this place intrigued me so much. Stonehenge is magnificent, so old and full of mystery that it’s hard to comprehend how those stones were brought from nearly 200 miles away. We spent several hours admiring the peaceful place and learning many things from the locals.
