Thanks for checking my blog!! I think the real estate market is about at the bottom right now. We have seen the worst of the foreclosures already even though it will take some time to straighten it out. I expect about another year or so before we see an "average" or normal foreclosure market but the banks are getting up to speed on them and can handle the process a little better than when it started.
Prices in our area are down about 8% from the peak in 2006. Not bad when compared to other parts of the country. I think prices are going to flatten out for a while due to higher energy costs like gas & oil.
