FALUN DAFA PARADE, FALUN GONG PARADE
This time it was held in Brooklyn, New York.
Every year there will be few Falun Dafa (法輪大法) Parade or commonly known as Falun Gong (法輪功) Parade in New York City, usually on busy streets such as 42nd Street in Manhattan, Main Street in Flushing or 8th Avenue in Brooklyn. They will also send marching bands on some other parades.
WHAT IS FALUN DAFA/FALUN GONG?
It is a religious spiritual practice that combines meditation and qigong exercises centered on the tenets of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance/Tolerance.
WHAT IS THEIR MESSAGE CONVEYED IN THE PARADE?
“Falun Dafa is good”, “Falun Gong is wonderful”.
They want believers, followers.
They want people to know “China Communist Party (CCP) persecute practitioners”.
They named one person Jiang Zemin as the cause of Falun Gong/Falun Dafa Persecution.
They urge the Chinese people to quit the China Communist Party.
SOME PEOPLE SEE FALUN DAFA PARADE AS A FARCE, FALUN GONG AS A CULT. What's your opinion?
