Thank you for taking your time to comment, Michelle. The market is exactly as reviewed in the article below. New, fancy, extravagant, trophy properties - all sell. Not as quickly as they used to, but priced right they'll sell. Many luxury property owners paid way too much when they purchased luxury homes and condos several years ago - in my personal opinion they were ill-advised. Of course, if they are trying to resell now, some will have to take a loss, as the fair market value is still not what they originally paid for.
