WHAT IS THE VALUE OF YOUR CHEVY CHASE CONDO?

There are a number of sites on the internet that will give you 'estimates' for what your home will sell for. These sites use public records and usually some kind of algorithm to try to produce a value for your home. These sites also publicly state their 'error rates'. That means they aren't correct, they are simply an estimate based on incomplete date. We would love to do a free comparative market analysis of your home or condo in Chevy Chase and let you know what you can expect. Our valuation is based on up to the moment data for homes that have recently sold in the area. Our valuation is not based on a formula that relies on public records which can take months to update. Please visit my website in order to get your free property evaluation for your Chevy Chase home or condo.

Morning Lise.

I've read about the master insurance from you for a couple of times now.  Not to sound like an idiot, but what is master insurance?

James Dray hi James... you must not sell a lot of condo or townhouse properties.

master policy is a form of property and liability insurance that HOA members collectively pay for as part of their membership dues. As members, you each pay an equal amount toward the master policy, given that everyone in your HOA has equal access to the same common areas and amenities.

Good morning, Lise... the prices for these condos seem very reasonable... but the condo fees certainly are high when compared with Charlotte fees.

Good morning Nina Hollander - thanks for the comments - and for explaining master insurance to James Dray - he and I have conversations back and forth about how different the Bethesda market is from his because he has very very few condos

James Dray - thanks for stopping by - Nina Hollander is right about the master insurance - it covers common areas and in the case of condos, it will cover the four walls of the building in so that the owner just has to- insure the contents of their condo - rather like renters insurance - If there is a fire in the building, the condo association has insured the building itself and the owner looks to their own insurance to pay for the cost of repairs within their unit and the cost of replacing their personal property like furniture, clothes - and the appliances etc

Nina Hollander - our fees are relatively high - in this case since it is an older building the fees have gotten higher and that has held prices down
