Event is scheduled from 7-8:30pm
Come and learn about how solar electric systems work and what it takes to get one.
SolarCity is one of the leading solar installers and has a strong presence here in Orange County. They're also the first solar installation company, that I know of, to partner with an electric vehicle company, Tesla Motors.

Plug in America will also be present during the event.
Plug In America is a coalition of RAV4-EV drivers, former lessees of Honda EV+, GM EV1, and Ford Th!nk City electric cars, and advocates of clean air and energy independence. Prior to 2008, we functioned as a loose network of individuals organized around websites of various names (like dontcrush.com and saveEV1.com) and then coalesced as a chapter of the Electric Auto Association. On January 2, 2008 Plug In America became a separate California Non-Profit Corporation. We have applied to the IRS for tax deductible status as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, which is pending.

Hello, I'm Bill Navarrete
As I said in my phone message, we've finished up out job in Beaumont: you may remember this was at the Wal-Mart installing a 4,000 BP panel array the 3 inverters were ex. This was my second job installing solar panels. The other was a Sam's Club where we installed 3,300 panels. On both, the main contractor was Sharpe but that's all of the projects they have in So Cal for now.
We currently have a job for 4 residences in the LA and Palm Springs area. We will work this weekend on Saturday and again, a few days next week. So that you know, we have worked from a lay-out and putting together the roof mounts and brackets, connect the panels in parallel or in series or a combination, running wires to the combiner boxes, and installing through conduit to the disconnect box with fuses before(we didn't) installing the inverters and tie ins to the main circuit. To varying degrees we have all done electrical work in the past. Today I was in Aliso Viejo near the Enterprise and in Aliso Creek at a new multi-level doing electrical work.
So for now it looks like we will work until November 10th, but, of course, we are always looking for more work for the three of us. I'd be really interested to hear if you have any work, either residential or commercial that we can join in with your crew for the projects in November. I have photos we can share, show us working doing varies projects.
Thank you
Bill Navarrete
