Today The 2008 North Tennessee State Fair featured a Reptile Show in the Clarksville Jaycees building hosted by Sherry & Donnie Howell of Reptiliacs, LLC. There were approx 75 people in attendance this afternoon to see a variety of snakes and iguanas.

OMG - Snakes! I discovered a snake aquarium upstairs in my daughter's room. With no snake in it. That was not a fun day.
Yes, the next day, in the dining room. She had me convinced that it went out her patio door to get some sun. :) It appeared the next day in the dining room. Also not fun.
She didn't decide she liked snakes until she was 17. Her dad and I have not decided that we like them.
We also got locked in the snake exhibit at the Sacramento Zoo once. Not fun either.
When we lived in Mississippi, my other daughter was running across the lawn and a really big snake was running (slithering quickly) after her. My husband was on the riding mower, saw it and started chasing it while it was chasing her. She didn't know about the snake, and couldn't figure out why her daddy was chasing her with the lawn mower. He got the snake. It was huge. Sound like Steven King? True story.
OK, now I am going to have nightmares, thanks, Roland!
Awww Virginia: You are going to be fine.. If it helps... I really don't like snakes either. This way is ok to see them... but on the loose... No Way !
