Why swing for the fence when a double will do

We are in a highly competitive market as loan officers and mortgage brokers. While there are alot of lo's and brokers that will still try to swing for the fence and make a killling on each loan, I've found making a reasonable commision has not only kept me afloat but also gets you more refferal contacts in long run.

There are many that refuse to lower fees and will be priced out of this market. The competion is tough and the borrowers are to savy to pay more than they have too. While I need to make a living and won't give away free money. I know in this day and age I won't make the large fees we used to see in the past.

So If I can write 4-6 loans a month with a little less comission. It will pay off with more contacts and refferals in the long run.

So don't stikeout swinging for the fence(unless you're my competion).
