MDH Partners, LLC has started construction on 19 acres in the I-575/Airport Industrial Park in Ball Ground. MDH Partners, LLC is the new real estate investment company founded by the former senior executives of M.D. Hodges Enterprises, one of Atlanta’s largest real estate developers.
MDH Partners will build four speculative buildings that will have between 4,000 and 100,000 available square feet and have excellent I-575 frontage.
All of the buildings will be brick on block with glass fronts. The first of the buildings is set to be completed by winter 2007.
Marshall Day, Chairman of the Development Authority of Cherokee County, said spec buildings give businesses a reason to look at Cherokee. “It is hard to relocate someone if you don’t have any inventory,” he said. “That is something we have sorely lacked in the county.”
The Development Authority's mission is "To develop and promote trade, commerce, industry and employment opportunities for the public good and general welfare, and to promote the economic welfare of Cherokee County and the State of Georgia."
