What do you think of when you think of "Home for the Holidays"? We've been running our "Home for the Holidays" Instagram posts since 12/1/2020, and we'll start our Twelve Days of Door County very shortly, too, but when you specifically think of a holiday home, what are you looking for? HOLIDAY HOME ESSENTIALS
For me, one of the "givens" is a fireplace. I don't know about you, but every single holiday commercial I see has a family gathered near a fireplace--gas or wood burning, and it doesn't matter if they're selling you a computer or an LL Bean moccasin, but from mid-November on, you see a lot of fireplaces! It's a personal choice for many (gas or wood burning--I've had both and I think both have great pros and cons)--do you love that wood burning smell, or enjoy the ease of flipping a switch?
