Fred, that is a cool form of ownership and must be a great place to live, do they have flood insurance, and I assume association fees to shovel, plow, pay taxes on the common land and parking area. Well done! P.S. I alos own a small island .73 acres that is in the Pemigewasset river in NH, it cost me $7/ year in taxes.

Very nice! We owned a house on the island of Martha's Vineyard! My husband had built it for his Mom and Dad after he had graduated college in Boston. How do you get your stuff across the water? I don't see ferries:)
