On March 16, 2021, California Association of Realtors (C.A.R) reported an annualized rate of 462,720 single family homes sold in California in February of 2021 decreased 4.5% from 484,760 in January of 2021, but rose 9.7% from 421,670 home sales in February of 2020.
The single family homes were values lower 0.1% to the price of $699,000 in February of 2021 from price of 699,920 in January of 2021, but jumped 20.6% from price of $579,770 in February of 2020 in California.
The average price for a square foot was $338.00 in February of 2021 rose from $283.00 in February of 2020 in California.
There were 2.0 months supplies of available inventory of single family homes in February of 2021, up from 1.9 months in January of 2021, but fell from 3.6 months in February of 2020.
An average it took 10.0 days to sell a single family home in February 2021, down from 11.0 days in January of 2021, and dropped from 23.0 days in February of 2020 in California.
