HI Will... sounds a lot like a baked ziti recipe... except I prefer to make my own sauce and not used bottled as it usually has too much sugar and salt.

Will what a fun recipe, now I would have to modify it in two areas. One we do not use beef so it would have to be ground turkey or ground chicken.... and it has been decades since I bought Jar Sauce, I make about four Jar Sauces myself and use them as if I was an Italian:)Endre
This dish sounds amazing but since I am trying to avoid having a lot of carbs I wonder if I could make it without the pasta.
