Gaithersburg Community Solar Projects

 

Have you heard about the new solar projects at WMATA Metro stations? PEPCO customers in Gaithersburg can sign up for shares of the clean energy produced by these solar panels through the Community Solar program. Ampion Renewable Energy, a Community Solar provider, is offering Gaithersburg residents who sign up a $100 credit towards a home energy audit. Learn more and enroll here.

This is a City of Gaithersburg, Maryland announcement.

I am definitely in favor of solar power, the sun seems like the most valuable resource we have and it provides energy for free.  I think that word free is what will hold it up from becoming what it should become since everyone has to make money off of others, especially politicians, haha.
