Hello Paul - first impressions can matter.  And lasting impressions do as well.  Hearing what others may say about another can speak volumes.  Listen carefully - those words "tell" much.   And not always in the way it may have been intended.   

So true. I never listen to what others say about a person. We do the judging for ourselves and are usually right!

Often the person doing the telling doesn't realize that the person being judged at that moment is them!

Paul- this is so true. I base how I feel about someone on how they treat me and how they treat others.

Hello Paul.  This is an excellent one today.  Unfortunately while I like to think I am always true to this I know I sometimes falter and need take a step back to readjust.  M

Paul love the photo.....looks like one we just put up for the holidays......kind of gives you that cool, wintry feeling.  And I remember my Mom saying, often to us kids, talk about ideas, not other people. And of course, if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

I have found that listening to stories some folks tell about others, is similar to sitting in a group of artists, before a mighty oak.  No two will paint it the same.
