I have had a local credit union reject approve a buyer for a loan, then after we were under contract they refused to do the loan on the basis they were doing a monthly distribution from an investment account for the monthly loan payment. They said the investment account didn't have the "required minimum amount for 3 years payment". That was true, but it was a fixable by adjusting the monthly withdrawal. Credit union didn't want to do it so problem solved immediately with another lender and closed it 10 days later on the date in the contract.

Joe Jackson we all have to meet the basic guidelines, but each lender makes their own decisions once the basic guidelines have been met, and as the video says some have added guidelines of their own.
